When Godfroy Moras was born in 1693 in Paris, France, his father, Pierre, was 56, and his mother, Marie, was 42. He married Marie Anne Deroche in 1710 in his hometown. They had one child during their marriage. He died as a young father in 1719 in Quebec, Canada, at the age of 26. 

It appears that after Godfry died in 1719, Anne Deroche was pregnant with Claude and moved to Quebec to start a new life. It was Marie Anne Deroche and her son Joseph Claude Morasse who brought our Morase family to North America. 

I cannot find any information on Godfrey's parents or anything before this period. This is the Moras ("Morris") history. I cannot tie in Godfrey's relation to  Pierre Mouet de Moras even though many parts of Ancestery.com do. There is no record of  Pierre Mouet de Moras having a child named Godfrey, even though I can see all of  Pierre Mouet de Moras's children in many other sources. It just doesn't match to Godfrey, so I must stop here.
