When Antoine Louis Morasse I was born on August 29, 1773, in Nicolet, Quebec, Canada, his father, Jean-Baptiste, was 30 and his mother, Marie, was 42. He married Suzanne Carmouche and they had four children together.

It was Antoine Louis Morace I that made the move from Qubec, Canada to Louisiana and started my whole Morace family in Louisiana. It is because of him that all "Morris" descendants of Milton are in Louisiana and Texas today.
