Auguste and Marie Louise's marriage ending status is divorce.
When Ones Felicien Bordelon was born on October 25, 1865, in Marksville, Louisiana, his father, Louis, was 56 and his mother, Leonise, was 23. He married Marie Louise Voinché in his hometown on November 28, 1889. They had eight children in 15 years. He died on August 30, 1951, in Marksville, Louisiana, at the age of 85, and was buried there.
Married: 28 NOV 1889 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Marksville, Louisiana
They were married by Father A. Chorin. Witnesses: L. P. Goux (next-door neighbor of Auguste & Marie Louise Voinche), Joseph ?, and M. Maillet. The 1900 Census shows this couple with 4 children: Adele, Walter, Auguste, & Percy. Also living with them was Ones' cousin, 19 year old Oscar Bordelon. Living next door was Dorsin & Adline Mayeux. On the other side was a black couple, Dorsin & Martha Dauzat.

** I've seen three different birth dates for Ones.
His baptism certificate states his birthday as Nov 6, 1866
Parents Louis Felician Bordelon and Phelonise Dauzat (Baptized Jan 31, 1868) Jean Baptise Ones Bordelon - St Paul Mansura. Their godparents were his step-uncle, Ludger Bordelon, and Clarisse Gagnard.
The US Census incorrectly and consistently shows his birthday as Dec 1870. This error was often the case for many people, and they just rounded up.
His Death Certificate (seen below) states Aug 22, 1865 - Parents Felician Bordelon and Leonise Dauzat. I have also seen a birthdate of October 8, 1865.
Being that his baptism and death certificate match with the same parents, I have to go with the baptism certificate as being more accurate and assume that nobody was exactly sure of his birthday date at the signing of his death certificate.
Ones Bordelon. The picture was believed to have been taken at Walter Bordelon's home.
The picture was taken one Sunday afternoon at Ones and Josephine's home
Marie Louise Bordelon: Jospahine's mother. In is a rare picture, and on the back of the photo, it states, "Marie Louise Bordelon was taken in New Orleans in 1905". It also says that it is the "great-grandmother" of one of Ones' grandchildren. The 1910 Census shows Marie as a widow. She was living with a black couple, Winton and Celestine Thomas. She was listed as a laundress in a private home. All 6 of her children were still alive.
A critical piece of documentation ties everything together for me -Ones's Death Certificate. It shows his parents, birthday, age, and Cause of Death.
Josaphine's Death Certificate
Shows Parents, Birthday, Age and Cause of Death
1900 Census shows Ones and Josphanie at home with all of their kids. Here, both of their birthdays are mistaken, which was common during these times. The death certificate below clearly shows different dates. I never understood how they came up with these dates. Oscar, a cousin, was also living with them.
