Zenon moved my family roots from Point Coupee to Avoyelles and started my roots there. As mentioned on Antoine I's page, most of Antoine's children had relocated to Avoyelles before his death.
Zenon has at least two grandsons who fought in the Civil War for the Confederacy.

Arsene BORDELON b: 15 MAY 1823 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana
Norbert BORDELON b: 24 JAN 1825 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana
The Avoyelles 1850 Census shows Eulalie as the widow of Zenon Bordelon, Still at home was Norbert. Also living with her was the widow Valery Mayeux (her daughter Eulalie) and the grandchildren Marcelline, Privoz, Dorsin, Cleophine & Helena Mayeux. Eulalie was living between J. B. & Aimee Bonnette and Sylvert and Eliza Bordelon. The 1860 Census shows Eulalie as a widow living alone. Living on one side was her son Louis F. Bordelon and his first wife Aimee.
There is some evidence that Zenon served in the War of 1812 per above, but I can't confirm that this is the same Zenon as my ancestor.
